Dr. Muz Mansuri has worked in the Pharma and Biotech area for over 25 years. He is currently Chairman and Acting CEO of CGI Pharmaceuticals and President and CEO of BIKAM Pharmaceuticals. Both of these companies are VC funded private companies. He is also partner at Gilliam Capital and Advisor to JSB Partners.
Before this Dr. Mansuri was a General Partner at Flagship Ventures. Prior to Flagship in 2002, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of GPC Biotech, Boston following GPC's acquisition of Mitotix in March 2000. Dr. Mansuri was with Mitotix from 1994 and was Chief Executive Officer when Mitotix was acquired by Genome Pharmaceuticals to form GPC in March, 2000. Before he joined Mitotix, Dr. Mansuri spent nearly ten years at Bristol-Myers Squibb Company in various research positions, culminating in Director, Central Chemistry.
Dr. Mansuri is currently a Director of CGI Pharmaceuticals, BIKAM Pharmaceuticals, Sequoia Pharmaceuticals and Endotis Pharma.
He received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from University College, London and held postdoctoral fellowships at the University of California, Los Angeles and Columbia University.
